The ability to play an instrument is a life enhancing skill and privilege to which very few children are exposed. Kleuterklassiek is a group activity for 6 to 8 toddlers. Children between the ages of 4 and 7 get the opportunity to learn basic skills on piano, violin, recorder and percussion in the course of one year. Through this, a love for music is not only instilled, but they acquire lifelong skill.
By exposing a child to different instruments Kleuterklassiek makes it possible to test a child’s interest and natural aptitude before expensive instruments are bought. On completion of the Kleuterklassiek program, suggestions can be made regarding future music lessons, taking into account the child’s experience at Kleuterklassiek. Children who start with the Kleuterklassiek program at a young age, can continue with the program as they grow older and improve skills on each instrument.
During school terms lessons are presented for 40min on a weekly basis.
Each child is provided of his/her own instrument by Kleuterklassiek.
